Mid-Year Reset: A Reflective Framework to Help You Recenter and Grow

Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year?
Whether it’s flown by or dragged in places, the truth is... you’re not the same person you were in January. And honestly? That’s something to celebrate!
This past week, I took some time to reflect. I asked myself questions like:
Have I met any of the goals I set in January?
What am I truly proud of?
What do I want to shift heading into this next season?
And what new goals or intentions are starting to take shape?
It was both grounding and eye-opening. I realized that while some things aren’t where I’d hoped they’d be, I’ve made real progress. I’m moving forward, and chances are, you are too.
So this week on the Strength in Numbers podcast, I’m inviting you to pause with me and do a little reset of your own.
It’s a short, reflective episode designed to help you check in and ask one powerful question:
What’s actually helping me grow right now… and what’s not?
To guide the reflection, I use a simple but meaningful acronym: S.T.R.E.N.G.T.H.
S.T.R.E.N.G.T.H. – A Mid-Year Growth Framework
This word gets tossed around a lot. But in this season, I think we need to rethink what strength really means. Sometimes, strength looks like pressing on. But more often, it looks like slowing down, being honest, and choosing to try again. Here's a quick preview of what the acronym stands for:
🌀 S – Stop & Breathe - Take three deep breaths. Pause. Let yourself be present—right here, right now.
🌀 T – Take Inventory - What has this season held for you so far? Where has your energy gone? What patterns do you notice?
🌀 R – Recognize What’s Changed - Celebrate your growth—even the subtle, quiet shifts. You’re not standing still.
🌀 E – Explore What Still Feels Stuck - With compassion, name the areas that feel heavy or unmoving. This is where awareness begins.
🌀 N – Name What’s Helping You - Who or what has supported you in this season? What’s kept you grounded?
🌀 G – Give Yourself Grace - Maybe this year hasn't gone as planned. That’s okay. Growth isn’t linear—and grace makes room to start again.
🌀 T – Try Something New - What’s one small step you could take now that would move you forward?
🌀 H – Hold on to Hope - Hope isn’t passive. It’s the brave belief that growth is still possible. What are you still hoping for in the second half of the year?
